Job Summary

A software development company specializing in cloud-based video distribution is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Front End Engineer in New York City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Participating in a software development process
  • Designing, authoring and shipping user facing dashboards and developer facing APIs
  • Participating in software architecture discussions & write software architecture documentation

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 1+ years of professional experience with HTML, JavaScript / ES6, CSS, NodeJS
  • Experience with at least 1 front end framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.) and 1 CSS framework (SASS, LESS, Tailwind, Bootstrap)
  • Working knowledge of front end best practices, design patterns, and web application performance
  • Familiarity with - and desire to learn more about - server side technologies
