Job Summary

An IT consulting firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Front End Engineer in San Francisco.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Support delivery of a Contact Center as a Service solution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Build a next generation solution for their Community Support team

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, and at least some familiarity with ES6+
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling
  • Familiarity with server-side web frameworks, ideally Ruby on Rails or Dropwizard
  • Commanding grasp of fundamental web technologies (HTML, DOM, CSS, etc)
  • Understanding of data structures and problem solving approaches
  • Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
