Job Summary

A software developer is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Front End Engineering Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Lead our efforts to upgrade company’s product user experience
  • Partner with our Head of Product Design to set a long term direction and architecture for Front End development
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies when appropriate, and mentor other engineers to level up their front end skillset

Qualifications Include:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams of Software Engineers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related subject, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience mentoring other engineers in front end best practices
  • Demonstrated comfort with JavaScript ES6 and/or TypeScript Comfortable with HTML and CSS
  • Demonstrated comfort with frontend frameworks such as ReactJS and Redux
