Job Summary
A company that provides a software platform for machine data has a current position open for a Remote Front End Software Engineer III.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Developing modern user interfaces that are both desktop and mobile browser friendly and efficient
- Participating in the development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of systems
- Mentoring and coaching other engineers, share the work you are doing, and participate in code reviews
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent training or work experience
- At least 5 years of experience working with web and/or client-side technologies
- Experience with full stack and/or backend development
- Knowledge of browser internals like Javascript engines, native DOM, Event APIs, browser quirks and ways to tune code for the best performance
- Passionate about JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, componentization, and building for scale
- Comfortable with command-line applications, source control, testing frameworks, continuous integration and other aspects of developing in large, distributed software teams
