Job Summary

A diverse education provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Front End Web Developer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Working closely with Digital Marketing Team to create customized apps/scripts for Marketing needs
  • Installing, designing, and configuring Wordpress microsites
  • Managing VPN web servers, including updates, adding services, security monitoring, and maintenance

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Design/Development or related field    
  • 1 year minimum experience and a portfolio demonstrating technical ability and design sense
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript/jQuery, and PHP
  • Working knowledge of Linux web server platforms, including WHM/cPanel, Apache, and shell scripting
  • Familiarity with Wordpress/CMS platforms and ability to create/modify themes and plug-ins
  • Ability to work in API platforms and related technologies
