Job Summary

A national professional services firm has an open position for a Remote Front Line Conventional Mortgage Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Reviewing all mortgage applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Completing underwriting review of loan files in a timely manner
  • Identifying, analyzing, and evaluating loan risk

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 4 years' experience in the mortgage industry
  • 2 years in a position of front-line Underwriter for Conventional mortgages
  • Previous underwriting experience servicing Conventional mortgage loan requests
  • Ability to review legal documentation, title reports, insurance policies and flood certificates
  • Prior experience using Encompass
  • Accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of execution of responsibilities
