Job Summary

An education company specializing in reading solutions has a current position open for a Remote Frontend Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Writing and review testable, scalable JavaScript (or TypeScript) code, HTML and CSS
  • Build modular, reusable components and features for the larger application ecosystem
  • Support and nurture front end real-time feeds and APIs to ensure that data renders with little delay

Position Requirements Include:

  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript (or TypeScript), HTML5 and CSS3
  • High level of proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Vue, React, or Angular
  • High level of experience with UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system
  • Solid experience in using a complex REST API from the client-side
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues, and ways to work around them
  • Knowledge and experience with client-side build/config management
