Job Summary
A leader in online grocery has an open position for a Remote Fulfillment Marketplace Staff Data Scientist in San Francisco.
Must be able to:
- Own analytical frameworks that guide the product roadmap
- Design rigorous experiments and interpret results to draw detailed and actionable conclusions
- Develop statistical models to extract trends, measure results, and predict future performance of product
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field with 5+ years of working experience as a data scientist
- Experience working on gig economy issues, multi-sided marketplaces, logistics, or e-commerce
- Experience in supply and demand shaping, logistics, pricing and other types of Marketplace project work
- Strong track record in forming effective cross-functional partnerships with stakeholders
- Ability to create and improve team processes and articulate a technical vision and strategy
- Experience driving quarterly or half-yearly planning processes
