Job Summary
A managed cloud hosting provider is filling a position for a Remote Fulfillment Network Engineer II.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Working with local datacenter to maintain network capacity for shared and cloud environments
- Providing a technical overview to Sales and define hardware Bill-Of-Materials required for network builds
- Installing software configurations against hardware components
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience with MPLS, BGP, LDP, QoS, IPv6, OSPF, vPC , STP, DWDM, EVPN, L2VPN, MPLS VPN, etc
- Multi-vendor experience with Cisco IOS, ASR 1k, ASR NCS, Nexus, Arista
- 3-6 years with network design and build-out of LAN/WAN’s and/or cloud service provider connectivity
- Experience working in service provider, datacenter hosting environment, or large-scale enterprise networks
- Experience researching, evaluating, and recommending hardware and/or software solutions
- Experience working with network vendors and cloud providers
