Job Summary

A publishing company has a current position open for a Remote Full Stack Developer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing responsive and elegant SPA functionality with an eye toward streamlined UX, using HTML, Vue, and SCSS, as well as client- and server-side vanilla ES6
  • Collaborating with a distributed, agile team of developers, product managers, QA, and designers
  • Participating in conversations about the design and architecture of our codebases, upcoming new builds, and code refactors.

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 2+ years in a frontend or backend engineering role, with 1+ years working as a full-stack engineer
  • Demonstrable proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with relevant frameworks for the client (Vue, React, Angular) and server (Node.js + Express or similar), as well as related build processes (Webpack, Grunt, Gulp)
  • Experience working with APIs and REST-ful services
