Application Developer with solid mobile and web application development experience using Microsoft tools and web and web services development frameworks, including C#, SQL Server, WCF and/or .NET, HTML, CSS, Angular, Angular Material TypeScript, Cordova, and the Ionic Framework. Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design, code, test, and debug changes to our Next Dispatch software suite
Design and implement web service-based business processes for an enterprise-level software platform
Design and develop mobile-friendly web applications using extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Angular, and Angular Material
Implement front-end web business logic using TypeScript/Angular and RESTful JSON web services
Design and develop Angular-based mobile applications (Android & iOS) solutions using Cordova and the Ionic framework
Implement front-end web business logic using TypeScript/Angular and RESTful JSON web services
Provide tier-4 technical support to internal and external customers
Required Skills/Abilities:
Solid working knowledge in developing C# and SQL Server-based service-oriented business applications
Solid working knowledge with JSON and RESTful web services
Knowledge of MS SQL Server, including stored procedures, foreign keys, constraints, triggers, and database design
Demonstrated ability to develop attractive and performant UI web pages, along with Android and iOS mobile applications, interfacing with RESTful web services via JSON HTTPS requests
Intelligent, dedicated, friendly demeanor, and eager to learn
Highly motivated, hands-on, and results-oriented
Comfortable in a small team environment using Agile methodologies
Ability to efficiently solve problems and implement code for time-sensitive engineering projects
Working knowledge of unit testing, in particular, Microsoft Testing Framework
Adherence to coding best practices, including class design using design patterns along with generics and inheritance, for ensuring optimal code re-use, ease of understanding, and maintainability
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience with WCF and/or .NET for web services
Minimum of 2 years experience working with the tech stack in a professional environment
Experience designing web service APIs
Experience with analyzing SQL stored procedures for performance enhancements and sharing best practices and standards with the team
Experience with Git, BitBucket, and pull requests
Experience with web service testing tools, specifically SoapUI, although Postman or browser-based RESTful clients are acceptable
Extra-Bonus Qualifications:
Familiarity with IIS and/or Azure Web Services and their related offerings, including tie-ins with Application Insights or other embedded performance monitoring technologies
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
