Job Summary

A non-profit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Full Stack Web Developer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Using open source web development applications to develop and maintain new and old user interfaces
  • Debugging, fixing and enhancing existing user interfaces issues using JS (Backbone.js, JQuery)
  • Developing web backends using a Python based web framework (Django)

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or significant related work experience
  • 2 years experience with modern JS (Backbone, Jquery etc)
  • 2 years web development experience, including Python (Django/Flask)
  • Experience with Linux, MySQL, Celery, AWS, Rest and GitHub
  • Professional working proficiency in verbal and written English
  • Excellent team communication and collaboration skills and ability to handle confidential information
