Job Summary
A healthcare diagnostic imaging company is seeking a Remote Full Time Prior Authorization Representative.
Must be able to:
- Notify insurance companies of services being rendered
- Obtain and verify any necessary additional demographic and/or billing information
- Assist in identifying authorization issues
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One plus year of experience in healthcare pre-authorizations
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
- Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding
