A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Gastroenterology Associate Medical Director.
Must be able to:
- Provide timely expert medical review
- Review appeals for denied services
- Provide timely peer-to-peer discussions
Qualifications for this position include:
- Continued support and hand-on training provided in Melbourne, Florida office
- M.D. or D.O. with a current, active, U.S. state medical license and board certified
- Recent practice experience in direct patient care within the past 18 months
- Have at least 5 years of clinical experience
- Familiarity with automated processes and computer applications and systems
