Job Summary

An IT company is filling a position for a Remote GCP Principal Cloud Solutions Architect.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Providing consulting expertise on Cloud Operational Model, compliance and security in the cloud, and the benefits of using GCP
• Leading pre-sales engagements as the primary GCP subject matter expert to solve customer problems
• Ensuring that a quality solution is delivered in a timely manner, within budget, and to our client's satisfaction

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required
• Minimum of 8-10 years of software architecture experience; 4+ of those years specifically focused on cloud architecture and deployment
• Experience working for a technology consulting company
• Demonstrated ability to architect, build, secure, and run complex projects in GCP
• High level knowledge of automation platforms and tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Chef
• Experience working with compliance and regulatory requirements in GCP, including extensive familiarity with security benchmarks in the cloud
