Job Summary
A real estate startup is in need of a Remote General Counsel.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Act as company’s chief legal advisor to consult on broad range of matters
- Create policies, processes, and procedures based on the latest legal trends
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- A JD with the ability to practice law in New York
- Equivalent of 5+ years’ experience at a top law firm or in-house
- Extensive experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex corporate agreements
- Superb interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Sound legal judgment, commercial awareness, and business acumen
