Remote General Counsel

Job Summary

A climate crisis-fighting technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote General Counsel.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Preparing the company for its initial public offering
• Drafting, reviewing, editing, and negotiating contracts
• Advising business units on compliance with legal, regulatory and third-party obligations

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• J.D. with excellent academic credentials, and a state bar member in good standing
• 15+ years of legal practice
• Very practical and business-oriented approach with strong attention to detail
• Experience as a General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer at a publicly-traded company
• Experience coordinating and communicating with an international team across multiple time zones
