Job Summary

An online education company has a current position open for a Remote General Education Elementary School Teacher.

Must be able to:

  • Deliver specific course content in an online environment
  • Provide instruction, support, manage learning process, and focus on students’ individual needs
  • Monitor student progress through company’s learning management system

Required Skills:

  • Ability to travel as required (on average once per month and/or approximately 20% of time)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Six (6) months of student teaching experience
  • Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in subject area under No Child Left Behind (NCLB)
  • Appropriate state teaching certification.\
  • Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught and ability to apply critical thinking
