Job Summary
An online university for adult learners is filling a position for a Remote General Education Evaluator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Scoring work and crafting helpful, robust, and personalized feedback to support students
- Providing analysis and evaluation of student responses to assessment task prompts
- Utilizing a rubric created by program and assessment development faculty
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Subject matter expertise and appropriate relevant advanced degree(s)/credential(s)
- Understanding and adherence to the tenets of competency-based education and the split faculty model
- Demonstrated ability to discern evidence of competency within student submissions
- Advanced strength in written and oral communication
- Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Communication, English, or Journalism
