Job Summary
A coffee retail company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote General Ledger Accounting Manager in Berkeley.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Owning month-end account closing activities, including managing and assisting a team of off-shore accountants
- Scaling AP policy and operations working closely with internal and external partner teams while providing fiscal oversight
- Preparing and/or reviewing documentation for annual audit requests
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 6+ years of relevant experience with accounts payable, inventory accounting and general ledger management is required
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, preferably through a combination of private and public experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Excellent analytical, creative problem solving, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with aptitude for prioritizing and multitasking
