Job Summary

A teletherapy company is filling a position for a Remote Georgia Licensed Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher.

Must be able to:

  • Promote academic achievement, language development, and social-emotional growth
  • Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Collaborate with students, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized educational plans

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field
  • Valid state teaching certification in Deaf Education or Special Education
  • Specialization in Deaf and Hard of Hearing
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with other communication modalities
  • Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably in an educational setting
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and communication devices used by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing
