Job Summary

A GIS services provider is in need of a Remote Geospatial Applications Developer Software Engineer in Richmond.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Working productively in a team environment, maintaining good communication with cross-functional teams
  • Learning and applying a wide variety of technologies to deliver solutions
  • Providing exemplary customer service to all clients

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years professional experience in geospatial application design, development, and operations
  • Fluency in Esri products and technology including ArcGIS for Server and ArcGIS for Portal
  • Understanding of application architecture best-practices
  • Experience with full stack development including SQL, C# / Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Interest working with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
