Remote German Interpreter

Job Summary

Working remotely as an Independent Contractor, the International Audio/Video Remote German Interpreter will handle audio and video calls on demand, facilitating communication for the Limited English Proficient community while providing superior customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct and maintain confidentiality standards

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and German
• Technology proficient with web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
• A quiet, secure interpreting space free from outside noises
