Job Summary
An online education company is filling a position for a Remote Gifted Education Teacher.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Serving as a resource person for parents, teachers, support staff, administrators and community
- Remaining abreast of current research, learning and available resources in the field
- Assisting counselors in promotion of concurrent enrollment and scholarships for gifted students
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Bachelor's degree
- Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in subject area
- Strong interpersonal skills emphasizing tact, patience and courtesy
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Great organizational and time management skills
