Job Summary
A non-profit organization is in need of a Remote Gifts and Grants Officer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Identifying of major gifts prospects
- Donor and prospective donor relationship development and maintenance
- Building and updating written material for regular communication with individual donors and foundations
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years experience in nonprofit development
- Knowledge and experience with the animal protection movement
- Proven track record building and growing development departments
- Fluency in research tools
- Proven track record in securing new donations, major gifts, grants, and increased giving
- Alignment with AO’s mission
