Job Summary
A space technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote GIS Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Define geospatial needs, draft workflows, and map service publishing requirements
- Provide geospatial data and metadata expertise and recommend geospatial data sources
- Troubleshoot and performance tune map services, data stores, and geodatabases.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- A U.S. Citizen with a current/active TS/SCI security clearance with the required Polygraph
- BS in GIS, Computer Science, or similar discipline
- 5 years of experience in working with geospatial software products
- Experience with Confluence and JIRA for Agile development
- Strong knowledge of ESRI GIS products to include ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise
