Job Summary

An avionics and information technology systems company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Global Avionics Trade Manager in Cedar Rapids.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting investigations and reviewing of possible export and import compliance escapes and disclosures
• Performing sophisticated Jurisdiction and Classification (J/C) analysis and validation (resolution of JC escalation, supplier issues, etc.)
• Performing HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classifications

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or
• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience or
• In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
• Classification experience with US Export (classification) Regulations
• Experience interpreting and managing policies and procedures
• Experience leading and implementing a team
