Job Summary
A global communications app company has a current position open for a Remote Global Communications App Press Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of brand and mission, and use this knowledge to create compelling storylines
- Act as our official communication and press expert, and manage an end-to-end publication process to raise awareness
- Create a thought leadership program for the organization by pursuing strategic awards and speaking opportunities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Have 3+ years experience in public relations - if you don’t have 3+ years, there is always a way to change our mind
- Know where to turn or who to reach out to in order to best tell the story
- Enjoy finding new ways and places to share our mission
- Love writing and editing, and have live writing samples - the more the merrier
- Enjoy operating out of your comfort zone, and are comfortable in a small team, intense and high-growth startup environment
- But most of all, you make things happen whether it's brainstorming new public relations opportunities
