Job Summary

A satellite communications company has an open position for a Remote Global Logistics Specialist in New Orleans.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Identify, negotiate and select cost effect freight solutions
  • Track and trace shipments, researching and resolving any issues
  • Ensure that the logistics operations and activities are executed

Qualifications Include:

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or International Trade
  • 5 to 7 years in a global logistics function
  • Familiarity with import/export regulations
  • Proven negotiation and communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel and Word
