Job Summary
A nonprofit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Global Nonprofit Policy Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Identifying opportunities, conducting policy research and analyses, and implementing strategies
- Drafting policy briefs, talking points, letters, comments, and fact sheets to support international public policy work
- Coordinating with regional policy team members and managing directors on international public policy initiatives
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel about four times per year for team/coalition meetings or international events
- Midlevel experience with government affairs or public policy, with 1 year’s experience working on international public policy
- Degree in law, public policy, or international affairs
- Experience working collaboratively in multinational coalitions or teams
- Strong understanding of the farmed animal protection movement and key issues related to industrial animal agriculture
- Fluency in written and spoken English
