Job Summary
An international food and beverage retail company is seeking a Remote Global Supply Chain Transportation Operations Specialist in Seattle.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the area of responsibility within the group
- Develop and install procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization
- Provide resolution and for routing exceptions and delays
Position Requirements Include:
- Education (minimum education level, degree or certification necessary): High School Degree or Equivalent
- Demonstrated competency with transportation management systems (TMS) and related processes
- Strong ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
- Working knowledge of transportation, distribution, and broader supply chain concepts
- General business acumen
