Job Summary
A human rights non-profit organization is filling a position for a Remote Governance Statistics Specialist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Initiating the development of an appropriate database and system for collecting, processing and storing data
- Establishing national focal points for the relevant SDG16 indicators
- Identifying and troubleshooting start-up issues
Qualifications for this position include:
- Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent degree) in social sciences, law, data and statistics or other related disciplines
- Minimum of five years professional experience in collecting, verifying, analyzing, compiling data and statistics
- Experience in collaborating with national statistics offices and other national statistical system entities
- Understanding of governance statistics
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
