Job Summary
An independent licensee of the BlueCross BlueShield Association is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Government Programs Nurse Risk Adjustment Coder.
Must be able to:
- Perform comprehensive review and oversight of medical records for Risk Adjustment compliance
- Support continued development of the CBC Government Risk Adjustment and Stars programs
- Maintain responsibility for conducting clinical chart and patient billing audits
Qualifications for this position include:
- Nursing licensure
- 5 years medical coding experience required
- AAPC CRC-Certified Risk Adjustment Coding Credential required
- AAPC CPC-P – Certified Professional Coder (Physician) required
- Prior HCC/HHS experience with Medicare Risk Adjustment
- Three ( 3) years’ experience in medical coding
