Job Summary

A bank and national mortgage originator is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Government Underwriter 3.

Must be able to:

  • Underwrite all levels of complexity of mortgage loan applications
  • Perform collateral evaluation for all property types
  • Ensure that loan meets FHA and VA insurability

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent
  • 5+ years of government underwriting experience
  • Intermediate to advanced technical/functional skills
  • Ability to analyze complex income, assets, credit and collateral
  • Experience with Desktop Underwriting and Loan Prospector (Total Scorecard)
