Job Summary

A recruitment company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Government Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Verifying and validating for accuracy and completeness all documents received
• Underwriting mortgage loan application and evaluate loans
• Meeting company standards of 60 new files per month

Required Skills:

• DE required
• Must possess the skills of a self-starter and use logic and experience to review and document files
• 3-5 years' experience government underwriting experience
• Must possess good technical skills, comfortable with MS Office, Byte, DU, LP and other various industry systems
• 2 years of remote experience
• Must have an advanced understanding of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and Investor guidelines
