Job Summary
An online education company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Grades K to 12 Special Education Teacher.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Implementing instructional strategies that stimulate learning and increase student engagement
- Creating instructional resources to meet the varying needs of students
- Analyzing student data to prescribe remediation and enrichment as needed
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel at least once per month within and between assigned geographic areas
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum six (6) months of student teaching experience
- Appropriate state certification – TN Special Education certification with transition experience
- Must meet state’s NCLB’s Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
