Job Summary
A staffing agency is in need of a Remote Grant Writer in Chicago.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential funding opportunities and maintain grant prospect database
- Write and submit grant proposals
- Lead program planning and development efforts in coordination with relevant staff
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Work Remote Partially (50%)
- Ability to write planning documents, reports, grant applications and business correspondence
- Bachelor's degree, and at least 3 years of experience grant writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and mathematical concepts
- Ability to interpret scientific, technical and financial reports and government and legal documents
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders and staff
