Job Summary
A university has a current position open for a Remote Grants Administrator.
Must be able to:
- Lead the preparation of proposals with varying levels of complexity from initiation through submission
- Interpret complex funding opportunity announcements
- Develop detailed budgets for grant applications
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree or a Bachelor's and equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience involving grants administration and/or grants management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments accurately and thoroughly with minimal/no supervision
- Experience with Pre-Award Grants administration including working with proposals and sponsored projects
- Experience and advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
