Job Summary

A university has a current position open for a Remote Grants Administrator.

Must be able to:

  • Lead the preparation of proposals with varying levels of complexity from initiation through submission
  • Interpret complex funding opportunity announcements
  • Develop detailed budgets for grant applications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or a Bachelor's and equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience involving grants administration and/or grants management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments accurately and thoroughly with minimal/no supervision
  • Experience with Pre-Award Grants administration including working with proposals and sponsored projects
  • Experience and advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
