Job Summary

A staffing agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Grants Program Financial Accountant in San Jose.

Must be able to:

• Prepare all internal and external financial deliverable, including reports, plans, and notifications
• Oversee grants and contract expenditures against the budget to determine when revisions are necessary
• Manage and provide status on Program budget and resources

Required Skills:

• Flexible, half in-office, half remote
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related
• Experience with accounting and financial analysis in a non-profit setting (3-5 years)
• Knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles, and ability to manipulate data in Excel
• Prioritize multiple tasks with an eye to task completion and follow-through
• Strong ability to cooperate collaboratively with department leaders
