Job Summary

A nonprofit political organization has a current position open for a Remote Grassroots Field Director .

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Building grassroots relations for the state chapter with political, business, media and community leaders, as planned by senior leadership
• Mobilizing and educating grassroots activists on issues within the organization's mission
• Organizing and planning state and local educational rallies and other grassroots events

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Willingness to travel for day and overnight trips in and out of state
• Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
• Must have valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with state and national staff, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, environment
