Job Summary
A nonprofit organization is seeking a Remote Grassroots Organizer in the New York City Area.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop and train new volunteer/activist leaders
- Work to mobilize grassroots activists and coordinate field actions
- Participate in weekly staff meetings
Position Requirements Include:
- Represent the company at events or within coalitions
- Experience working with both online and in-person organizing
- Proven experience organizing, training, and working in coalition
- Experience and interest in the new economy, peace and justice movements; and/or corporate campaigning
