Job Summary

A nonprofit global research organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting Associate.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Developing updates and/or additional guidance to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard
• Drafting issue briefs or other materials as needed as part of the guidance development process and for the GHG Protocol website
• Conducting research and interviews with stakeholders on corporate GHG accounting and reporting

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s degree preferred in environmental science/policy or a related field
• 7+ years full-time relevant work experience in greenhouse gas accounting, climate change mitigation, or related field
• Familiarity of Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards, corporate GHG accounting and reporting, scope 3 accounting, etc
• Have written and spoken proficiency in English
• Existing work authorization
