Job Summary

A managed care health plan company has a current position open for a Remote Grievance and Appeals Coordinator.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Researching and resolving member complaints for all lines of business ensuring compliance
  • Maintaining grievance and appeals case files in database
  • Preparing summaries and writing resolution letters for members

Position Requirements Include:

  • Work in a call center, claims department, and/or other customer service position
  • Personal computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Work cooperatively with others
  • Work as part of a team and support team decisions
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Adapt to changes in requirements/priorities for daily and specialized tasks
