Job Summary
A managed care health plan company has a current position open for a Remote Grievance and Appeals Coordinator.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Researching and resolving member complaints for all lines of business ensuring compliance
- Maintaining grievance and appeals case files in database
- Preparing summaries and writing resolution letters for members
Position Requirements Include:
- Work in a call center, claims department, and/or other customer service position
- Personal computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Work cooperatively with others
- Work as part of a team and support team decisions
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Adapt to changes in requirements/priorities for daily and specialized tasks
