Job Summary
A healthcare provider is in need of a Remote Grievance Appeals Analyst I.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing, analyzing and processing non-complex grievances and appeals in accordance with external accreditation
- Following department guidelines and tools to conduct their reviews
- Serving as a liaison between grievances and appeals and/or medical management, legal, and/or service operations
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Must live within 1 hour of an Anthem office location
- Requires a High school diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years’ experience working in grievances and appeals, claims, or customer service
- Or, any combination of education and/or experience which would provide an equivalent background
- Requires a familiarity with medical coding and medical terminology
- All other requirements necessary for this position
