Job Summary

A health insurance and wellness company has an open position for a Remote Grievances and Appeals Medical Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing medical interpretation and decisions
  • Making decisions about the appropriateness of services
  • Identifying medical management operational improvements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • 5+ years of direct clinical patient care experience post residency or fellowship
  • Current and ongoing board certification in an approved ABMS Medical Specialty
  • A current and unrestricted license in at least one jurisdiction
  • No current sanction from Federal or State Governmental organizations
  • The ability to pass credentialing requirements
