Remote Grocery Buyer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Buyer (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively purchase grocery items to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Confirm item availability and make thoughtful, customer-first substitution decisions when items are out of stock
• Execute workflows that ensure grocery orders are fulfilled with a high level of quality, freshness, and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required
• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced grocery, retail, buying, or merchandising role is required
• Experience with Slack or Google Suite is a plus
• Previous experience in grocery buying, store operations, inventory management, or order picking/fulfillment is desired
