Job Summary
global science and technology manufacturing company is in need of a Remote Ground Water Business Development Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Generating sales growth in the Ground Water segment of our Hydrology business by working as part of a team that sells and supports all growth in this key market
- Working to establish professional relationships with key personnel in targeted customer accounts and strategic channel partners while meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars
- Participating in sales activities including telephone contacts, trade seminars, conferences and shows, product demonstrations/evaluations, customer seminars
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to Travel; 50% activity throughout the US with a concentration in the West
- 5 years of direct and/or indirect sales experience, in the Groundwater Hydrology (water quality and quantity) field selling to a variety of entities
- A degree in a science related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalent
- A valid driver license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to prepare and present a monthly funnel review utilizing SalesForce.com to demonstrate the quality of the funnel, activity plans and command of the account base
- Ability to develop strategic solutions to address complete and complex customer issues
