Job Summary

A financial solutions provider has an open position for a Remote Group Medical Underwriter Consultant I.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Identify and recommend process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality
  • Consult/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects
  • Review initial EOIs and more complex medical records, involving EKG and more complex laboratory results

Required Skills:

  • 3 - 5+ Years experience in underwriting and/or experience in a medical field
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • Assists with other underwriting assignments/support and projects as needed
