A major healthcare company is in need of a Remote Group Underwriter II or Senior.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Determining appropriate premium rates for large, complex renewal and prospect employer groups
- Determining acceptability of insurance risks
- Proposing rates and terms for group prospects
Qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in underwriting
- Requires a BA/BS in a related field
- Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
- Ability to calculate renewal rates for complex group cases
- Ability to coordinate with other departments
