Remote Guidance Systems Staff Certification Engineer

Job Summary

An avionics and information technology systems company has a current position open for a Remote Guidance Systems Staff Certification Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Developing certification plans for HGS programs
• Identifying program obstacles concerning equipment airworthiness approvals
• Supporting strategic planning efforts for complex programs to ensure the organization's objectives and business targets are achieved

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree ( Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics and 8 years of prior relevant experience or
• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience or
• In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
• Experience in commercial or military aerospace systems, including flight experience in support of optimized certification approval strategies
• Domain knowledge and knowledge of products, systems and applicable regulatory requirements for Aerospace systems
• FAA Part 21/23/25 training and experience
